You can request most services with us online by using our online booking portal *BOOK NOW* For any new client colour services or restyle haircuts, we will ask you to complete a new client consultation form before we can confirm your booking request. All bookings will require a deposit - see below for our cancellation process. You will be able to view, change or cancel your upcoming appointments through the online booking portal also.
Is there Parking near by?
Unfortunately we do not have any off street parking available so please consider this when planning your journey. There is plenty of street parking in the area with some 4 hour parks on Newry Street and Lee Street. Rathdowne Street has 1 and 2 hour spaces available. Just let your stylist know if you may need to move your car during the service and they will let you know the best time to go.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand how busy and chaotic life gets and that last-minute cancellations are sometimes inevitable. If you cannot attend your appointment and give at least 48 hours' notice there will be no charge - if you paid a deposit it will be refunded to the card that you paid your deposit with. We will also aid you in rescheduling your service for a more suitable time or you are able to manage your appointments using our online booking system. When we are notified of the cancellation with less than 48 hours notice, we do our very best to fill the appointment by contacting our waitlist and posting on socials. If the appointment doesn't fill however we will send you an invoice for 50% of the service value.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
All new clients and online bookings require a deposit to book in an appointment. This varies in price depending on the service. We require 48 hours notice for any changes or cancelations, otherwise you may lose your deposit.
Do you offer consultations?
Your stylist on the day will provide a thorough consultation before commencing your service. If you are a new client or hoping for a change, We have a great Online Consultation Form we can email you to get your hair history, a picture of your current hair, and your desired outcome. From there we will be able to assist you in booking the correct services. For very compromised hair or colour corrections, we may need to book you in for a complimentary in person consultation so we can assess your hair more thoroughly.
What happens if I'm late?
If you’re running late up to 15 minutes we will try to amend the service for you. If you are more than 15 minutes late we may need to reschedule for another day and you will be charged 50% of the service.
Who will look after me at my visit?
If you are with us for a long colour appointment, you will meet us all in your journey with us! First you will be cared for by your chosen stylist/colourist for your service. Then you will be looked after at the basin by our amazing emerging team, who are trained by our senior team in applying toners, treatments and blowdries.
How long will I be in the salon?
Depending on the service booked, you may be with us for a few hours - if you have a time constraint, please let your stylist know with a minimum of 48 hours as we may need to amend your booking We have a selection of drink refreshments available for your stay with us, delicious GF/Vegan Cookies, and you are so welcome to order some uber-eats or bring food with you - local businesses we recommend are Florian Cafe, Shimbashi Soba, and Clay Organics.
Do you have a cancellation list?
Lola Fortune encourages you to join our waitlist/cancellation list if the time you are after is not currently available. You can do this via our online booking portal, or contact us directly via email to be added to the list. We post last minute openings to our instagram story with a link to our online booking portal, so we suggest turning on our notifications so you don’t miss out when we post.
Do I need to book a cut or blowdry separately to my colour? SERVICES Yes, when you request a colour service online, you must also select a finishing service to make it a complete booking. Select either our complimentary service ”Blowdry - Alongside Colour Service” or if you’d like to add on a haircut, select “Haircut - Alongside Colour Service”. If you don’t select one of these, there won’t be any time allocated for your colour to process and to be rinsed/toned and we may need to decline your booking request.
